Another team, WHIR!!

It is a regular Y! H2H 5x5 12 team league.

C - Geovany Soto
1B - Justin Morneu (on the 5th round)
2B - Howie Kendrick
3B - Atkins
SS - Jose Reyes
OF - Vlad
OF - Curtis Granderson
OF - Kosuke Fukudome
UTIL - Dustin Pedroia
BN - Ellsbury
BN - Adam LaRoche (ew..)
BN - Michael Cuddyer
BN - Ramon Hernandez (I had to leave in the last few rounds, which made me pick little crappy picks in the end)

SP - Hamels
SP - Chris Young
RP - Jenks
RP - Capps
P - Felix Hernandez
P - Bonderman
P - Brian Wilson (going to pick Lester instead)
P - Jonathan Broxton

Note: I was considering using Pedroia plus one of the pitches for trades.
I was considering getting either Ankiel or Casey Blake to improve the bench, but I don't know which one. I was leaning towards Blake because he gives me more flexibility since he can play more than 1 position, compared to Ankiel.
Thanks in advance guys!

C - Soto - Solid youngster w/ 20HR potential and good contact
1B - WOW in the 5th?
2B- SS - 3B - Studs
OF - vlad and granderson - Solid. Fuku is unproven against MLB, but a huge sleeper
Util - Pedoria young and talented. should produce well
Pitchers - Strong. Lots of K's
Closers - Jenks I think will be even better this year!

Your right about your bench. LaRoche isn't as bad as what you think. He still can be very productive this year. I think if Bay has a stronger year, Laroche benefits, too
Fantasy player since '99.

Yeah, I was shocked, this is how the draft went. (I was the 5th pick, and hoping to land Rollins)

1. (5) José Reyes
2. (20) Vladimir Guerrero
3. (29) Curtis Granderson
4. (44) Cole Hamels
5. (53) Justin Morneau
6. (68) Garrett Atkins
7. (77) Chris Young
8. (92) Bobby Jenks
9. (101) Félix Hernández
10. (116) Howie Kendrick
11. (125) Geovany Soto
12. (140) Dustin Pedroia
13. (149) Matt Capps
14. (164) Jeremy Bonderman
15. (173) Kosuke Fukudome
16. (188) Jacoby Ellsbury

18. (212) Michael Cuddyer
19. (221) Adam LaRoche
20. (236) Jonathan Broxton

The draft got messed up because there was this dude that was drafting way out of proportion, picking tons of Yankees
1. (7) Derek Jeter
2. (18) Manny Ramírez
3. (31) Bobby Abreu
4. (42) Robinson Canó
5. (55) Chipper Jones
6. (66) José Valverde
7. (79) Hideki Matsui
8. (90) Jorge Posada
9. (103) Johnny Damon
10. (114) Joba Chamberlain
11. (127) Curt Schilling
12. (138) Andy Pettitte
13. (151) Carl Pavano
14. (162) Chris Britton
15. (175) Mike Mussina
16. (186) Jason Giambi
17. (199) Melky Cabrera

21. (247) Zack Greinke

Not bad for a 12 team league. I like Morneau and you've got solid SP and OF. I'd try and get a bigger-name reliever and see if you can improve on Kenrick and Soto. B-.

you have a lot of proven studs, but your relying on too many young guys to show up this year. don't get me wrong if they do show up you'll be walking all the way to the championship game. but just be ware of the youth on ur team.

ramon hernandez, you don't need him. you never need 2 catchers, it's like having 2 kickers in fantasy football....

and you could def. package some of ur youth and get urself another RP

but other than that, good job!

Thanks for the info. On Hernandez, it wasn't my fault since I wasn't around for the last few picks. But I dropped him off for Ty Wigginton, which gives me flexibility with 1B/2B/3B playability and he is not that bad.

I'm picking Jon Lester for Brian Wilson and I updated the Trading Block. So I am waiting for the offers to appear. Thanks to everyone!

i like your pitching but like everyone else has said you do need a bigtime upgrade at Utility, maybe a guy off the ww, or trade for sure, you could stand to lose a pitcher to get a good hitter imo.
Reyes and guerrero, the two most blessed players in the league, not to mention the most fun to watch
