The clowns have based it on total production for 2003 hence Vlad at 35 and Jeter at 109. Anyone that had time off last season has dropped right down.
RJ at 122 which looks about right.

Whtas the surprise? This happened last year too
What did? Rankings on previous season numbers? If that is true how do you explain Webb at 126.

As I understand it, the O-Rank is a combination of last year's stats and the current year stats. Since there are no 2004 stats yet, it's necessarily 2003 stats. As the season goes along, the O-Rank should change. It's not a projected 2004 ranking.

I pay no attention to their rankings. I just go by my own.

B. Kim (Red Sox) is ranked ahead of R. Oswalt (Astros).
That was my favorite. I feel sorry for anyone playing in an auto-pick league. Inevitably somone won't change the pre-set rankings and get Kim as their number one starter!

Actually, I believe the "O-Rank"
is the projected rankings for this season although they are heavily weighed by last season's final stats. The second column that is simply called "Rank" shows you the final rankings from the 2003 season based only on last year's stats and not making any sort of projection for 2004. You are correct though, that as the season goes along the O-Rank and Rank will change to reflect this year's stats.

No Robb Nen either

At least they could have him listed, he's been on their roster the whole time, shouldn't he be on based solely on that?
