Thing is, he has mitocrondeal deficiencies. He'll never be able to play a full season.

He has been undergoing new treatments that doctors feel may be able to counter act his problems. He is DH'ing and not playing the field. The hope is that with treatment and DH'ing he will be able to play a lot of the season and if the treatments are very successful he may even be able to play the field again

According to the inimitable Stacy Long of the Montgomery Advertiser, Rocco Baldelli will join the Biscuits on Wednesday to continue his indefinite rehab stint.
