The Baltimore Sun reports that Brian Roberts left Orioles camp Wednesday morning because of a stomach ailment that required a visit to the hospital.
The team insists that the situation has nothing to do with ongoing trade rumors. Roberts indicated Tuesday that he wouldn't be against a trade if it gave him a better chance to win. Asked specifically about potentially being dealt to the Cubs, Roberts called them "a great organization" and indicated that he wouldn't mind playing in Chicago. "It's just a touchy situation just because I love the Orioles," Roberts said. "Wherever I am Opening Day, I'll do my job."

Roberts is among the classiest players in all of baseball IMO. I'm torn on roberts. I love him as a baseball player and love seeing him in an Orioles uniform, but hes probably the best trading piece left on the team. I think Roberts realizes this as well...

well if you're in AL only, i wouldn't draft him. everyone is speculating he will be a cub sooner or later.
