I always think of baseball when I think of fantasy. I like them both equally but I don't know many that do fantsasy football, but it seems like everyone does baseball. I think baseball is awsome for roto leagues. Football is awsome for Head to Head leagues.
I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing Astroturf and the designated hitter. -Crash Davis

Football has more players and I have the proof! Here's a quote from an article found at cbs.sportsline.com.
A recent survey conducted by the Fantasy Sports Trade Association indicates there are now more than 15 million adults playing Fantasy sports. Football is the driving force, with 93 percent of that total playing Fantasy Football.
"Football is the engine driving the locomotive," said Ambrosius.
David Hersh, SportsLine.com's vice president of Fantasy Sports, said, "In terms of the growth of Fantasy Football, that's what is really driving the growth of Fantasy in general and what has been pushing Fantasy Sports into the mainstream over the past few years."
Hersh also mentioned how Fantasy Football overtook Fantasy Baseball in popularity in the '90s. But recently it hasn't even been a close race between the two.
"The gap has become wider each season. In 2002, football was five or six times the size of baseball for SportsLine," Hersh said. "I expect that gap to continue to get wider."
