Bonderman for Haren?

Postby cblanchard » Tue Feb 19, 2008 10:56 pm

16 team league-
I just got offered SP Bonderman Tigers, CJ Wilson Texas, and a 4th round pick for Dan Haren SP Arz.
I need a closer (wilson), Don't have much pitching after Haren, but I think Bonderman can (hopefully) match Harens Stats. Haren and Bonderman are both 5 year vets...
Would you guy's make the trade?
Thanks for the reply's.....

i guess this is a keeper league?...any restriction on keepers?...scoring system?...who else is on your roster?...how many players are kept, thus, what kind of player do you expect to get from a 4th rd pick?...too many unknowns to give a good answer, sorry

Wrong forum dude.

But to answer the question, NO CHANCE! Keep Haren. He is moving to NL and will dominate.
CJ Wilson is not a sure thing as closer. Bonderman pitches in the AL and has injury question marks all over him....

I would not even think about this kind of trade, I would definitely want more. I'd probably take a 4ourth and a PREMIERE closer to be willing to let go of Haren this year.

I wouldn't do it since Haren is coming to the NL and Bonderman has some arm issues near the end of last year.

Haren is far more valuable then Bonderman, unless you're in an AL only league

NO WAY. Danny Haren is nasty, and only gonna get better with his league switch.

Plus, Bonderman has those persistently nagging elbow injuries, which IMO is not good for a hard-throwing guy who snaps off that nasty slider quite often. He will no question spend some time on the DL this year.

Keep Haren.
