We are going from 5x5 to 6x6...roto style Kinda stuck on what the 6th cat should be for pitching. We use the standard 5: W, K's, ERA, WHIP & Saves. For some reason Holds is not an appealing option to my league. Any suggestions as to what direction to go?

Holds, IP? QS?

I personally like holds. Our league is 7x7, and coming up with 7 pitching categories is a challenge. For our league we have used HR allowed for a few years, but it is often disheartening to see a HR given up in an otherwise well-pitched game. This year we are changing to total bases allowed, which will be a better indicator of whether a pitcher can avoid getting knocked around much.

IMO the next cats for pitching would be one of QS, holds, K/9 or HR. If you dont like holds then I suggest either QS or K/9.

Probably QS since it pumps up SP value which is important.

Total bases allowed is a possibility. It's essentially slugging percentage against. It takes into account a pitcher's home run and extra base hit propensities, and is actually somewhat trackable from year to year.

I've been trying to find a site that would have OPS against as a category, but still haven't found one. Using BAA right now in my league and really not a fan at all.
