I'm new to slow draft. Do we send you a pm with our pick and then you post it here? When and how does it start?

Also, are we allowed to trade draft positions?

I will post the draft rounds here in this forum. For example, there will be a thread for the first round and in that thread, once it is your turn, you will post your selection following a specific format (1.02 - Name of Player (Position) )

If you cannot make your pick in the alloted time (or if you know you will not have internet access), you can pm someone you know with your list of players (preferably someone in this league).

You can trade draft picks but not switch with another owner for the entire draft (you cant choose to draft 8th, even if the other owner is ok with this). If you do make trades with draft picks, they have to be equal. For instance, you trade a 1st rounder and an 8th rounder for someones 1st rounder and 6th rounder. You will also have to post the trade and wait for approval (although most trades will easily be accepted).

Actually I do have more questions. If a person post here with his pick, will the next person have the right to pick immediately? Or will he have to wait for that 24/12 hours to expire? I'm asking because the 1st guy can come back and edit his post before the 2nd guy has a chance to post. That is why I asked if the picks was to be done by pm to commish.

Also, is anyone else unhappy about his spot? I might be willing to trade my 1.03 plus a later round for something equal.

The next person can pick immediately after. The owners should PM the next person in the draft order once they have selected a player to expedite this process. It is usually frowned upon to change your pick once you have made it - so choose wisely.

Also, I will open a separate thread for trade discussions. Let's keep the discussion in here to the draft order only.

I think we will start Thurs. morning. Remember, check this forum out this week. I am not sending out a mass PM saying that the draft has started. It is easier if everyone checks this forum on a regular basis (daily) so that they are up to date on the happenings. ;-D
