Which Prospects To Target?

Postby Philly_05 » Sun Feb 17, 2008 2:03 am

I'm looking over who is available and have a few ideas in mind but who would you look at to fill out the last 3 spots in your minor league and how much importance on picking them in a league who loves prospects. Most of the top guys have been kept these are just names that pop out to me. My minors have Jason Heyward and Rick Porcello on them now

Lars Anderson 1B BOS
Phillippe Aumont SP SEA
Wladimir Balentein OF SEA
Faustino De Los Santos P OAK
Will Inman SP SD
Matt LaPorta OF MLW
Andrew McCutchen OF PIT
Adam Miller SP CLE
Beau Mills 3B CLE
Mike Moustakas 3B KC
Jordan Schafer OF ATL
Josh Vitters 3B CHC
Angel Villalona 3B SF
Brandon Wood 3B LAA
Jarrod Parker SP ARZ
Brian Matusz SP

The guys that jump out to me are Mike Moustakas and Andrew McCutchen.

Moustakas, McCutchen, Parker, Matusz, Villalona, Vitters are my favorites. I also like Lars and think he will be at the top of a lot of lists in a year or two.

The guys at BA are pretty high on Moustakas - Jim Callis has him at 6 in his top 50. Probably a pretty good choice there.
In my fridge: Founders Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS), Central Waters Peruvian Morning, Bell's Batch 10,000, Dale's Pale Ale, Capital Brewery Amber, New Glarus Moon Man, and Guinness.
