Draft Strategy??

14 team, mixed, 5x5, c,1b,2b,ss,3b,of,of,of, u, u, 7 pitchers and 8 reserves. What are the various strategies to employ with this type of roster (unlike the traditional 14 hitters and 9 pitchers)?
Pitchers: 5 sp and 2 closers, 4sp, 2 closers, and a G Mota. or 7 lima's?
Hitters: Position scarcity - nonexistent? SBs easier or harder to come by?

I have 1st pick in serpentine which, of course, is A-Rod. What do I do for the 28th and 29th pick. Rolen, Sexon? Rolen, Wells, or Rolen and SP or a different pair? Who would you target? Some thoughts would be appreciated.

Position scarcity won't be nonexistent at all - the scarcity might change a bit with changing roster requirements, but it's still a key factor.

in your position with taking arod first, id look at bret boone with your second pick. that would take care of ss and 2b. from there possibly 3b (rolen or chavez). the other positions 1b, OF, p are very easy to fill. due to scarcity that's what i like. you could also take posada a bit early (your third pick) because he's guarenteed to be gone when you are coming back. then the rest is easy.

take at least 1 SP w/ pick 5/6, or if 2 solid SPs are there take back to back SPs.
