This would be my first "auction" year. How long do they take? I envision sitting in front my PC for eight hours. I am used to a $300 cap.

Probably 4-5 hrs if it's a 12-man league.
0-3 to 4-3. Worst choke in the history of baseball. Enough said.

It also depends on if it is a redraft league or keeper league. If there are players frozen, 5-6 hours is a good bet. If not, 6-7 hours. It may also depends on the amount if alcohol being consumed. It tends to get a little messy 3/4 of the way in. :-b
