Molina doesn't plan to change his approach at the plate in the slightest for San Francisco. The catcher batted .276 with 19 home runs, 19 doubles and a career-high 81 RBIs last year in his first season with the Giants and first in the National League.
So he's going to continue not to take walks, and to have a .300 OBP? Lucky Giants!

Poor Lincecum and Cain... they could put up a 3.20 ERA, 1.10 WHIP, and 200Ks and still not win 10 games.
And isn't that just a tragedy? It's not like there are a bazillion good arms out there, and then to have two decent SP pitch with this kind of "support," it just further thins the field, and that totally sucks.

Didn't Randy Johnson drag 16 wins out of the 2004 Arizona Diamondbacks? THAT was torturous owning him. He pitched so well that year he should have won 25.

Cain and Lincecum know the Giants are rebuilding. They know it'll take a year or two, which is good because that's about how much time they need to hone their skills and become elite SPs. The Giants will work it all out in the end, I have faith. But this season will be absolutely grueling... agh.
In terms of Cs, this has got to boost Molina up a spot or two. Hitting cleanup as opposed to the usual 8-spot should provide him with 'ample' RBI opportunities: R Davis is quick as all hell, Winn is serviceable on the basepaths, etc... I'd slot him in for another 80+ RBIs this year. Thoughts?
