I've got enough interest to get this thing going. This is gonna be an auction league run outta the cafe. I'm looking at 12-14 teams. I was hoping to do a live draft as per the method I detail several posts down but that and other league settings can be determined after I get the league filled up. Once I get 12 guys I'll email Madison to get a forum for this. Post here if interested.

Not sure how I would run an auction though. Does anyone have experience doing a slow draft auction? Is it even doable?

You can do it in a league forum, they've been done here before. Don't see one going on right now. Basically everyone submits a player every day and then bids on everyone up for bid. But we would need to get rolling in the next couple of weeks to finish on time.

Well I've been canvasing for ways to hold a free live auction and hadn't been so successful until I found this:

I looked into this and no matter how bizarre this sounds the idea is actually incredibly good. Basically the site has a spreadsheet which only the commish would edit. Each user is logged in and can view the sheet (but can't edit it). On the side is a chat window which everybody has access too. It might take a couple rules and getting used to but I think I could make this work.

I'm gonna formally put something together in the next couple days (no need to rush now).
