Rebuilt team, 3 years in the making

20 team, h2h, 6x6 scoring (ops + holds) dynasty league. This is Year 3 of rebuilding (I inherited an awful team) and I plan to complete it by trading away BJ Ryan for a big bat once he proves his health and becomes a top 5 closer again. Depending on how Prior rebounds, I might trade one of my SP as well. Anyway, is my team one slugger away from contending this year?

I dont think you are one slugger away from contending. 20 teams is certainly deep, but I dont see alot of power there. I certainly like your pitching staff and I definitely like the idea of moving Ryan for a slugger. You definitely have some nice trade pieces and I think you are moving in the right direction, but I think you have a little more work to do...
