sure it is. they are both being ranked around the same in most lists.

so they are basically equal with a sllght edge to Headley because he get to the bigs this year
Notice that I said "In terms of fantasy value". Those lists are based on real-life value, not fantasy. Headley is up there with Marrero on those lists because he plays a premium defensive position and he's more polished (he has plus plate discipline and draws a lot of walks). Other than that, there's not much to get excited about. Playing half his games at PETCO, I have serious doubts if he'll be able to hit 20 HRs annually at the major league level. Marrero on the other hand has huge power potential. In his first full season he hit 23 HR between A and A+ as an 18 yo. To give you some context, Headley hit 12 HR in A+ as a 22 yo in the hitter-friendly California League. So basically if you're only playing for this year you take Headley, but if not, Marrero wins out easily.
