How do the Mitchell Reporters look?

Postby JeebusMcC » Wed Feb 13, 2008 8:16 pm

Here is my freshly drafted team. It is a 10-team H2H Points League with weekly lineup changes.

C: Soto (22)
1B: Konerko (8)
2B: Utley (1)
3B: Cabrera (2)
SS: Furcal (17)
OF: Granderson (4)
OF: Rios (5)
OF: BJ Upton (6)
Util: Atkins (7)
BN: Young(AZ) (9) and Blalock (19)

P: Lackey (3)
P: Penny (11)
P: Burnett (12)
P: Young (10)
P: R. Soriano (14)
P: Gagne (18)
P: Corpas (16)
BN: Billingsley(15) , Wainwright(13) , Carpenter (21), BJ Ryan (20)

I didn't realize there wasn't a DL until after the draft, so I'm not sure if I'll hang onto Carpenter anyway or drop him now for Lowry or Robertson or the like and hope to pick him up if he comes back hot. I know I have three third basemen, but I'm hoping that will come in handy later as a trade piece.

In regards to Carpenter, I think the latest report on him has him coming back somewhere around the All-Star break or later. I'd dump him now for someone that can get you some results this year, as you never know with Carpenter if he can bounce back at full health.
