What is your take on Andy Sonnanstine? It looks like he will get a rotation spot.

How affective will he be? Any comments?

Yea he will be the 4th starter. Sonny should continue to improve this year. He doesn't have over powering stuff, but he is consistent.

Sonny has a huge lead for the 4th rotation spot. I don't think his numbers will ever be great, but he should be a solid innings eater going 5-6 innings every time out. While that is not alot of innings, considering what we have had the last 10 years as our 4th SP, that will be absolutely great. His innings have been looked after great in the minors, so he could easily pitch 180-200 innings this year unlike Niemann, Price, and a few of our other more high profile pitchers. I would look for him to have a K/9 of about 6 with a 1.25 WHIP and a 4.5 ERA. Again not great, but not terrible for a 4th or 5th starter.

He is honestly no better than a 4th starter this year.

He is better than Edwin Jackson and they do not want to rush any young players so he will sit there at 4th starter.

Someone in my H2H Scoresheet League (AL only) just took him in the 14th round. That is the first round of drafting. We get to keep 13 players.

I would take Sonny over Washburn and Silva. A case can be made for over Guthrie and Baker too
