My First Team Ever...WHIR

Hey, this is my first fantasy baseball team, although ive been a long time lurker here, any advice would be appriciated!

I used autodraft.

C - Napoli
1B - Konerko
2B - Uggla
3B - Fields
SS - HanRam
OF - Hart
OF - Hawpe

UT - Tulowitzki
BN - Helton
BN - Greene
BN - J. Upton

SP - Bedard
SP - Kazmir
RP - Hoffman

SP - Sheilds

Your two biggest needs appear to be Wins and batting avg (possibly Saves as well, depending on Marmol). Depending on the size of the league, you might want to consider punting batting avg and trying to win all other offensive categories (if the league is bigger, this is a better strategy). I would put Upton in the starting lineup in place of Kemp for right now, just because he is guaranteed a starting spot and Kemp is not. Also, I would start fielding offers for Tulowitski now. He's a solid shortstop, but you already have a star shortstop....make sure to get good value for him. It doesn't matter what position the person plays since he'll be taking up your Util spot, but I would suggest a 1b because a) yours are a little weak and b) people will give up better stats in a 1b than most positions.

As far as pitching goes you are set to win K's outright. You might consider trading Lincecum for someone who will deliver a better ERA, WHIP, and more wins, but with a lower K total. You don't need him for the K's since you have Kazmir and Bedard.

how many teams was it, without know i'll say its a pretty bad offense, u need help at 3rd and prabably C. i love ur pitching though

agree with others in that if you can trade Tulo for a bigger bat because you have a stud at SS. Also if you can get anything for Greene I would trade him. If you want to think outside the box you could look to trade Hanley only if you got 2 top 20 players in return and play Tulo at SS.

I think the top of your rotation is good but I think you need more P's. I like to keep 2 bench bats at the most.

The good news is you do have pieces to trade.
