Ripken SS record safe?

Everyone had pretty much given up on Ripken's HR and other shortstop records, but now that A-rod has moved to third for an indefinite amount of time, is there still a possibility that Ripken's records last?

i think arod has got to move back to SS eventually. he is just to good at that position to be wasted at 3B. i think ripken's record will be broken.

Interesting point. Ripken's marks might be safe for now if A-Rod stays at 3B, but the SS position is changing, and a lot of talent is coming in. They might not be safe for long...
