i really like your team. you blend power with speed, older vets with young upsiders, and have a solid staff. the only thing i could think of is getting another low level closer. myers is a SP now and you do have lidge and putz. who knows which lidge will show up. it's nothing to worry about now, but it's the only thing i found.

I'm new to all of this, but the closer situation stood out to me also. You have Putz who is solid but Lidge isn't the most reliable, maybe try to pick up another closer.

I also have Fields as my 3B and don't know how I feel about that, the avg could be killer. Good that you have Longoria in case he gets the nod for the Rays.

Overall I would say its solid, maybe a 3rd-5th finish pending on in-season moves.

Since it was an autopick draft, you should immediately go get Brandon Lyon, who has been largely missed on and was named D-Backs closer. Ankiel is a prime drop candidate, would also consider Pettitte.

If crede is available I would handcuff him w/ fields because from what I know it seems like nothing is set in stone here as to who is going to stay or go. I'm a sox fan so i follow them closely and I would snag crede as insurance incase they can't or dont trade him till the all star break and Fields ends up in AAA, just my thoughts.

Really solid, balanced team. You'll be fine at 3B with Fields/Longoria one of them should have a nice enough year to warrant a starting spot. I would probably dump Ankiel and Laroche to add some pitching depth to your roster. Another closer is a must grab and probably another starter.
