My general observation:
I was a little surprised that so many pitchers went as early as they did. 15 starting pitchers went in the first 6 rounds and 22 in the first 8 rounds. This is pretty close (even a little higher) to the ADP I've been seeing for redraft, but I figured in this draft format the lure of the young hitter would drop starting pitchers down quite a bit. It's unlikely that the pitchers drafted in rounds 4 through 8 ever become more than a borderline keeper, while several of the hitters drafted in that range could become nice keepers. Also with pitchers being a little more inconsistent and injury prone, I would want my keepers to be hitters because they'll tend to keep their value from year to year.
I just expected more offense through the first 6-7 rounds.
