I think you have too much on the pitching side when your hitting needs help at the Catcher, SS, and the 2 outfield spots. I don't see much speed beyond Cano.

Your pitching is very nice but I think you have too much of it. I'd look to make a trade with maybe Randy Johnson or perhaps Bobby Jenks (you have too many high-powered RPs) based on speculation, and maybe get yourself an upgrade for speed, OF or a power-hitting OF.

I agree...you definately should get a servicable replacement for Griffey when he goes down (when, not if). Pat Burrell also isn't great for a 3rd outfielder. Doesn't really look like you have any speed at all, so I'd try to trade away one of your pitchers (Jenks maybe?) for another outfielder or two.

Agree with the comments above that you are strong on pitching, weak on OF and speed. I disagree about trading Jenks though....closers in a H2H have more value....I'd try and trade Johnson for an OF that will give you SB (first two coming to mind are Pierre and Taveras). You could also look on the waiver wire and see if someone like Michael Bourn or Corey Patterson are available. They are far from sure things, but give you a lot of SB potential that could end up adding a number of wins to your team as the season goes on. Also have to say I like having Zim and Blake as backups for Pujols and Chipper in case the injury bug bites either of them. Nice job.

You will see by May or June that this team is not that good.
You will lose Griffey, Jones, Possibly Pujols, Johnson, and possibly BJ Ryan due to injury. In your next league try getting less injury prone players. You can take a gamble with Pujols who said that he will not play through the pain this year if you solidify your offense with proven less injury prone guys. My advice would be not to draft K-ROD and Paps in thr 4-6th riund and grab offense than where you got Griffey and Bureel grab Pena and Capps. SOmething like that.

i dont think your pitching is at all strong, you are depending on unit as is and jered weaver isnt elite.

although i do agree you have other weaknesses at the other spots. getting sheff will help but again his age and injuries remain big ?'s with him even in that potent lineup

Your pitching is better than your hitting, true. But you have a lot of risk in your starters.
