Should I get Myers?

Agreed on El Duque. He's never real put together a dominating season. Post Season, different story. I'm glad the Yankees have him, but that doesn't mean I'm sure of his chances during the regular season! Either way, though, I'd give up either Penny or El Duque, OR Sabathia (who I forgot before) with Klesko to get Giambi. I think it's a fair trade for both teams, but I like it if I get Giambi. I still don't know if it will happen. We'll see.

Neither Arlo Vander nor Fantasy Baseball Cafe accept any responsibility for Orlando Hernandez' meltdown against Tampa Bay. The use of the word "implosion" in connection with the Yankees' pitcher was not intended to jinx Mr. Hernandez in any way. This post was a work of fiction. Any resemblance to actual implosions is entirely coincidental...

By the way, as to Myers becoming a closer: this is pure speculation, and certainly won't happen this season. I do feel he has the right makeup to close at some point, though. If he struggles, he might become the next Gagne a bit down the road. Again, this is guesswork, but that's part of the fun. :->

Can this guy see the future?!? No wonder he has OB1 on his avatar! 8-o
