35 minimum innings pitched in 14 team league??

Postby Texan » Sun Feb 10, 2008 6:10 pm

I just made my 14 team Yahoo Head to Head league and I changed a few settings around. Among the changes was an increase in the weekly Minimum Innings Pitched. I changed it from 25 IP to 35. I was wondering what you guys thought of the new minimum? Is it too high or is it reasonable? (This will be easy for me to reach becaue I generally have 7 starters and 5 relievers but I'm not sure if this is the norm...)

For pitching roster spots we have 3 SP, 3 RP, and 3 P (and we have a total of 5 bench spots-- and 2 DL spots). Our pitching categories are: IP, W, SV, HLD, ERA, WHIP, K, K/BB, K/9, and Quality Starts.

I wanted to guard against the manager who loads up on relievers and dominates pitching stats. I thought the categories I chose did a good job of balancing out whether or not they favor SPs or RPs. What do you guys think?

we used 30 last year and are bumping it up to 32. 40 was too high. we use wins, saves, era, whip, k/9
