Best left side in the history of baseball???

Postby RynMan » Mon Feb 16, 2004 11:15 pm

Do the yankees now have the best left side in history??? i dont buy it. I personally think the Cardinals right NOW have the best left side in baseball. Renteria is IMO the best defensive shortstop in the game, and Rolen would have to come close to A-rod on D at 3rd base. I dont see how the Yankees can make a claim like that.

I've got to assume you're talking offense here....Jeter defensively ain't gonna cut it....

Defenseively Tejada & Chavez were no sloutches.

Tejada is a better SS defenseively then Jeter.

Chavez 3 3B gold gloves. Arod we have yet to see play 3B.

Interesting question - what was the best SS/3B combination of all time? There's probably an obvious answer that I'm overlooking... Jenning and McGraw?
