1. Lincecum
2. Felix
3. Gallardo
4. Hughes
5. Billingsley
6. Cain
Lincecum appears to be in the perfect environment -- he's in a pitcher's park with little pressure as the team rebuilds. Felix has the best stuff, but will his inconsistency fade as he gets older? Gallardo is filthy and has Maddux to groom him. Hughes falls simply because of the Big Apple pressure (who was the last ace to start his career in pinstripes?). I like Billingsley, but the Dodgers are reluctant to give him a starting job. Cain will someday be a frings No. 1, but more likely a solid No. 2 -- but never an ace.
Is there anything fluffier than a cloud?
If there is, I don't want to know about it.
