Both sides have been hopeful to strike an agreement for the last few weeks now. Great news for the industry and the local economy here, especially with the Oscars here in less than 3 weeks.

I'm not sure if I'd trust Eisner but if it isn't done it is close since they are going full steam ahead with the Oscars.

I think that I've learned that I can live without TV. Sports, jeopardy and old episodes of Robot Chicken are enough for me.

Finally.

I've been waiting so long to hear "...and that's The Word" again.
Sometimes it takes a crazy person to see the truth. If so, I'm a freaking lunatic.

I'm the same way too. I only watch TV just for the sports and a few of my favorite shows and that's really it.

I'm just happy that it's over and all my friends in the Biz can go back to work. One of my friends working at Best Damn Sports Show wishes it was over a few weeks ago. He couldn't go down to Arizona for the Super Bowl because of the strike.
