The max moves per week is something I've never tried. We have a 40 transaction limit on the year and it has worked reasonable well. Makes people stop and think before making moves instead of just churning away endlessly.

Roto naturally stops these types of things because of the innings and games limits in most leagues. Weekly lineup is probably the best way to stop them in H2H.

Yeah I like Roto for that reason. You don't need to make a lot of changes. It's more laid back than H2H.
But in H2H, if you wanna win you I have to micromanage.
IMO it is more fun that way. Weekly leagues are boring.
And I don't like to be screwed by not being able to set my lineup every day and lose just because of that.
Real life managers micromanage too.
And if I feel that it becomes more of a job than fun I'll stop playing.
You are more laid back type, than others.
But some of us wanna play daily transaction leagues.

This actually puts extra value on elite starting pitchers as you need to reach the minimum innings. We actually use 32 innings. It wouldn't be possible to reach that many innings without at least 2-3 starts.
