What I would like to do is run 2 leagues for Cafe regulars, one AL-only one NL-only with the same people in both. The highest cumulative point total for both would be considered the overall champion. I would run both, but perhaps someone else in the league could be the "reporter" for the league here on the boards.

would like to get 10-12 owners for each.

Standard 5x5 roto. Weekly lineups (I prefer daily but we are all in a lot of leagues im sure so a little less maintenence would be good).

lineups would be: AL: C,1B,2B,3B,SS, OF, OF, OF, Util - SP SP SP RP RP P P
NL would have no Util and one more P slot

One quirk would be that the owner of a player switching leagues would have first rights to that player if they want him (transaction through commish tools). If you invoke that right though you cannot trade them to another team (prevents people from claiming just as trade bait).

Post here if interested. Once we get to minimum 10 with interest, I will set up the sites on Yahoo. Remember this is signing up for 2 leagues basically so don't overfill your plate as it would be best for people who will treat it seriously for the season.

i've been trying to get some friends of mine to play in 2 leagues formated just like this but no one's been too interested. i am! i'd love to get involved in this and also support an auction if possible. daily changes are much better, but i'm flexible.

Good to see some interest

just an FYI: I prefer auction and daily (and like keepers) but it's hard enough sometimes to even just get enough people for a serious free league (let alone technically 2 leagues) so trying to keep it simple/low maintenence for the "greater good" :-)
