Is Craig Wilson's value history?

The Pirates have signed Mondesi and have look to be signing Randall Simon. Craig Wilson has been a formidable choice for people needing a catcher this year. But with those two players on board they look to take a sizable chunk out of any playing time Wilson was looking to get. What do you guys think?

I would say yes and I have adjusted my sights on Lecroy.

Guys on the ESPN Pirates board are optimistic he'll get at least 350 - 400 AB's. I don't know what to think really. I just know he's probably not going to be an everyday starter. He'll platoon with Simon, spell Mondesi and Bay in the OF, and be the backup catcher. If someone gets hurt, I'm sure his PT will go up also.

God, I think I've tried to answer the question about 10 times already...I guess he is an important piece of a fantasy team though due to his catcher eligibility...

It's ashame that this guy can't get a break. He could be an everyday player with a few ballclubs. Why not the pirates of all teams?

I dunno, I think I'm going to hold on to Craig. I like his versatility, yet I agree with the posts regarding the other Bucco signings and how it relates to his PT. Who knows, maybe the Pirates will get Kendall moved, maybe Bay won't be ready physically, maybe they won't sign Simple Simon, maybe Mondesi will go AWOL. At $3, I guess I'll roll the dice and keep him . . . . .
