Guys on the ESPN Pirates board are optimistic he'll get at least 350 - 400 AB's. I don't know what to think really. I just know he's probably not going to be an everyday starter. He'll platoon with Simon, spell Mondesi and Bay in the OF, and be the backup catcher. If someone gets hurt, I'm sure his PT will go up also.
God, I think I've tried to answer the question about 10 times already...I guess he is an important piece of a fantasy team though due to his catcher eligibility...

I dunno, I think I'm going to hold on to Craig. I like his versatility, yet I agree with the posts regarding the other Bucco signings and how it relates to his PT. Who knows, maybe the Pirates will get Kendall moved, maybe Bay won't be ready physically, maybe they won't sign Simple Simon, maybe Mondesi will go AWOL. At $3, I guess I'll roll the dice and keep him . . . . .

A bad three minutes at the auction can cost you three months worth of research!
