Maybin for L.Anderson/Lowrie/Masterson

I take Maybin. He is in the majors this year, has 30-30 potential down the road, and is pretty much guarenteed a job by late summer at worst. Anderson is a good prospect but has not made it to double A yet and the Sox have the resources to go get another big bat thus blocking him if he falls off the pace. Lowrie may get a starting job this year or next, but does not have much potential. Masterson is a reliever who may get some holds someday. Go with Maybin.

Forget Maybin, go after Johan with that trio of Sox prospects.

I'd take Maybin though, Lowrie and Masterson don't project as possible fantasy studs and Lars is years away.

i'd be tempted to take that deal...maybin has the tools but hasnt produced anything above high A...the sox farm is very deep and those 3 are rated #3,4,5 by baseball america..lars anderson could be a huge power guy..the sox use their prospects as trade tools so these guys may not end up in fenway but could be stars elsewhere

Lowrie and Masterson are also blocked right now. Like someone said earlier that they could be traded there is also a possiblity that they become backups.

This is why I also wouldn't do the deal. Maybin has by far the most upside.
