New Stadiums...hitters or pitchers parks?

Postby fezzik » Mon Feb 16, 2004 6:45 pm

So San Diego and Philly have new stadiums...I haven't been able to get much info on whether they will translate to hitter's parks or pitcher's parks...

I think Klesko remarked that he thought San Diego's park would be more pitcher friendly, but other than that, I haven't heard anything. Can somebody help me out here. Thanks.

I think there was a thread on this a few days ago. If someone can track it down, I think this question can be answerd. From what I remember, they're probably pretty close to the middle of the road among the other parks in Major League Baseball.

Where is BELL when you need him? ;-)

It will take a year or two of indexes to shake things out. Qualcomm was a hitters nightmare. Petcos dimensions don't look good. We will see.
