Zito or Sosa

i have a trade on the table...the details are long...
so im just looking for thoughts on the upcoming season.

Most "experts" all seem to predict (and have me believing) that Zito will get hurt this year. He has slid in many draft rankings.
Down K's, down Wins....

Most seem down on Sosa as well....

I like Sosa for next year.

Sosa will never hit for average again but you will get good OF stats for him in HR RBI and RUN with him never having hit in a stronger lineup than this year.
My projection for him is 108-42-121 .276

Zito I expect to have a solid year. He pitched well last year without perhaps getting the credit he deserved. He certainly deserved to win more games than he did but his drop in K's is a small concern.

With a weaker offense behind him and a questionmark over the bullpen (closer especially) his WINS again will not be anywhere near 2002 but I'm confident his other numbers will improve on last season.

For a trade, it does depend on your team, but I would draft Sosa before I draft Zito.

sosa was down pretty badly the second half of the season.....i dunno if will carry across or not. Either way i believe zito is a top pitcher....get him if you can, just dont expect a 20 game winner.

hmmm I would take Zito because its Zito.

But Sosa is going to hit 40+ HR & 100+ RBI and he will hit at least 280.

Zito will bounce back this season.
