Hey do you think I need to look into a SS/ 2nd baseman? I believe the rest of my team looks strong. I play in H2H point base league where Wins and saves are 10 points, Ks are 1 point, a completed inning is 2 points, etc.....6 points for HRs (a point per base, plus an RBI, plus a run)
Catcher- Posada
1st- D. Lee, Teixeira, and N. Johnson
2nd- L. Castillo
SS- Valentine, Crosby
3rd- Chavez, A. Ramirez
OF- M. Ramirez, Baldelli, P. Burrell, Patterson, and Drew
SP- Prior, Mussina, Colon, Padilla, Od. Perez and, Al Leiter
RP- Dotel, and Hawkins
I really like A. Ramirez playing third and with my upgrade at first I can put Teixeira into the OF. Lee is never going to put up the numbers he is projected to put up.

yes lee is..........lol chavez isgonna do awesome and lee is just as good as delgado
I am not worried about any categories, cause like I said this is a point based Head to Head league. The trade got 6 objections so its going to the commish.....I guess it works out both ways. Id rather trade Chavez for a SS if the trade doesnt go through.
hey you've gto a solid team for a head 2 head. This sounds like a Sportsline league, which is the site I use. The outfield is a little weak for their system, as Ramirez is the only real power hitter, and there is plenty of outfield power depth. Your SP is excellent tho, and should crush your opponents especially on their 2 start weeks.
The trade is horrible for your team however. Let's say Chavez and Lee both go off for 600 points each. That's 1200 points. Both fill a spot in your starting lineup, and 2 players providing a consistent stream of points is more reliable than banking on 1 to do the same. Now Delgado is excellent and should go for around 650 points, and Ramirez around 380 points for the season. That adds up to 1030 points.
The difference between pair A and pair B is 170 points. That comes out to an average of 7 points a week, which last year in my league was approximately the average point differential between two opponents. Therefore, that trade would cost you an average of 7 points a week which could cost you 2 or 3 games!
Additionally, Lee is always underrated in my opinion (I'm always able to grab in the 10th round), and has a very high ceiling this year moving from a pitcher's park to a renound hitter's park in Wrigley. Delgado can at the most repeat his #'s from last year and has nowhere to go but down.
