Yeah, and I believe someone made the argument early Saturday that the ARod deal couldn't possibly go through because ARod hates the Yankees and didn't want to play 3rd.
The only issues with Maddux have been playing for a contender and getting the right money. Yankees can give him both. Best team money can buy.
maddux already said he will not go to the al and the reason he hasnt signed witht eh cubs yet is becuz he was waiting for a dodger bid cuz hed love to pitch on the west coast
The Bergen Record reports that the Yankees are in hot pursuit of Greg Maddux. The Cubs, Cardinals, Dodgers, and Giants are also interested in Maddux, though the four-time Cy Young winner recently rejected an offer from the Giants.
Love them or hate them, the Yankees certainly make things interesting. All I can say is: Come on, Steinbrenner, let some of the other teams have some talented players, please.

They moved Arod over to 3B, so why not move Maddux to a lefty?
haha.. u never know
There have been ambidextrous pitchers before. I remember a player by the name of Greg Harris, whom had played for many teams in his career, once threw both hands in one game. I think he was the first to do so in about 100 years.
