Im in a very deep league and I've got Halama on my bench. Does anybody know what his role will be in Oakland, if any? Any information would be great.
Thanks.
Josh.

Ugh...Everytime I see his name, I think of how he destroyed my whip/era a few years ago as a starter in Seattle. This guy is truly schitzophrenic as you'll find out...pitching brilliantly one outing and being hammered the next. Giving up 6-8 runs per bad outing is not unusual. Personally, because of my experiences with him, I'd go find a sleeper or even a rookie...I know it's extreme...but he's just too goofy to take seriously.

John Halama is in the hunt to be the 5th starter for Oakland.Unfortunately he puts up better #s as a reliever ERA 2.31 as rel and 4.83 as starter. If your in a deep league than keep him but there are better options.
