We are looking for mature individuals that would be interested in a fun side venture. There is no money involved. ( Unless you want to lay out cash and have your own team hats made up
) It is for fun and enjoyment, (and braggin rights if you win.) We have played in a similarly structured money league for the better part of 15 years, so he is just porting over the structure of that league and will run it through proboards and Yahoo. The auction and most league transactions/activity will be held on the proboards and will be done in slow auction style. The actual play will be done via Yahoo. This will be a weekly league with transactions done through the proboards site rather than yahoo, It is 5X5 with the categories being : HR, RBIs, R, SB, OPS,/ W, Sv, Ks, ERA, WHiP12 Teams, 24 active roster and a 5 person reserve roster
$260 cap
3 year non guaranteed contracts (ie you can cut a player year to year)
AL only rosters with reserves being AA and AAA level players eligible. (No David Price cant be drafted)
The key is personality, respect and maturity. There are some rules as well as expected manners, It is supposed to be a fun league so hot heads and immaturity is not tolerated, nothing personal, but he is allowing his 12 year old son to help him with his team, so he certainly does not want to have him exposed to rude comments and behavior.
