T.O. was in the Top 5 for dropped passes this season. Obviously targets plays a role in that but he's never been the most sure-handed WR in the league. His open field ability is still amazing but now he is struggling to break through the jams at the line. He'll be way overpaid at this point in his career and that's not even factoring in his Team Obliteration skills.
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey
The Giants make the most sense for him, especially if they get rid of Plax. He wouldn't really fit with the Raiders, but that's never stopped them before, so I wouldn't be surprised to see him go there, either. Minnesota may be a dark horse.
Yeah Haley v. Owens II would be entertaining at the least.

Ugh, what's all this TO to the Giants talk? There is no way Reese brings him in. Boldin/Braylon is what I'm hoping for. If not, they'll go with what they have plus either Plax or a 1st rounder (possible trade up for Crabtree??? ) and rely on their ridiculous defense to win XLIV

True. Dallas' canning of TO makes the Jints even stronger in their division. With Philly getting demands from DMac (and rightly so) on who/what they draft, and with Washington's anemic offense, combined with the disarray in Dallas, New York (G) have to be the favorite to win the division heading into 2009. It'll still be a tough division, but the Jints are the front-runner.
I know but getting anyone to talk about the Giants over there is like pulling teeth.
Giants have had good off-season so far and there's not one thread...

Maybe you should start one.
Really the traffic over there has dropped off big time this off season...there's probably more football talk going on in this thread than the whole football side.
