It is his first year of arbitration. He has just over 3 yrs MLB service time.

That link requires some sort of subscription. Am I to understand that they are now 'on the same page?' What do we think this will mean in terms of Phillips' production this year and in the future?

Well I hope BP doesn't relax now that he has a big contract. I liked that he was playing for a contract. Good news for the Reds though. As for the guy who said "good move again Krivsky". When has Krivsky ever made a good move? Though Arroyo was pretty solid.

Oh I don't know...

Brandon Phillips for Jeff Stevens
Bronson Arroyo for Willy Mo Pena
Edison Volquez for Josh Hamilton

Signed Harang to a cheap long term contract
Signed Arroyo to a cheap long term contract
Signed Phillips to a long term contract

Has seen Jay Bruce, Homer Bailey, Johnny Cueto, and Joey Votto rise to the top of prospect lists

Maybe most importantly got rid of Felipe Lopez

But your right, he hasn't done anything good for the Reds :-S

BP plays hard all the time. Period.

Krivsky rules and I will defend him to the grave - unless he signs Dunn long term.
