I need help thinking this out.
I am running an auction league with 5 keepers for next season.
I am looking to have owners sign 5 players to contracts of 1, 2, or 3 years.
How does everyone else do this? What values do you use per year?
Assume Pujols went for $45.00 in the April "08 draft. What options could you use to sign him to a 1, 2, or 3 year deal.
Thanks for your imput

you would need to have this done before the season starts, and you can give each team a max number of years to give out each year. for 5 keepers...maybe 10 years
also i would make a penalty for dropping a contracted player...that will make people really think about giving a high dollar player a contract
