1. Hudson (most consistant)
2. Mulder (can throw the most innings and gets wins, but injury concern)
3. Zito (K rate declining, and is the most inconsistant of the 3)
Hudson is the obvious #1, he's just plain awesome. Mulder and Zito are pretty much the same player stats wise. Personally, I'll take Mulder who has proven he can win games without getting a lot of K's, unlike Zito.
What do you mean unlike Zito? Last 3 years Zito has 54 wins, Mulder 55, Hudson 49.
3 year whips
Mulder 1.16
Hudson 1.18
Zito 1.18
3 year eras
Hudson 3.02
Zito 3.17
Mulder 3.36
K rate
Mulder 6.2
Hudson 6.1
Zito 5.7
Why is Hudson considered the easy #1? I still like Zito. I'm stubborn.

I usually agree with Hootie but this time I'm the anti-Hootie.

Id say Hudson Mulder Zito
But dam....these guys are soo close its not funny. Nowhere in baseball do you have three guys on your staff that you have soo much trouble ranking.
Well it's easier for me to rank these 3 than say the bottom half of the Reds staff.
Claussen Haynes Harang Acevedo
Now that's tough.
i stand corrected! how embarassing....
LOL
My rankings on these 3 change every day. Honestly, given the background inconsistency in pitching stats year to year, I don't think there's a good way to differentiate between the three for fantasy purposes. Take whichever and as many of the 3 you can get and smile.
