I figured I would sit Crawford since I should get a bunch of steals from Lee, Soriano, Reyes, and Jones. Think I should bench Tex over him? Or should I try to trade Crawford for something?

dont trade crawford, lee and jones will steal less bases, reyes and soriano are you only real threats to dont do it

I guess I should point out it is a points H2H league (team with most points total gets a win), its not like a point for each category.

Points are as follows:

1B - Singles 1 point
2B - Doubles 2 points
3B - Triples 3 points
BB - Walks (Batters) 1 point
HR - Home Runs 4 points
R - Runs 1 point
RBI - Runs Batted In 1 point
SB - Stolen Bases 2 points


I figure Teixeira will hit at least 30 HRs, meaning 120 points just from that. Crawford would have to steal 60 bases to equal that.

Well the whole points based league makes a huge difference. I'd keep Mark in there and keep crawford on the bench if you don't need the steals. If Tex starts to struggle you could always make the switch later.

I would have a little concern about your SPs though. Not anything major. Just the fact they are all young and not too proven. Halladay is a great pitcher (I'm from Toronto so I watch him all the time), but he is going to be facing the Yanks, Bosox and Orioles alot this year. Those are some pretty devastating lineups. I know good pitching beats good hitting but you can only expect it so many times. Also, Vasquez is a great pitcher but unproven in New York. Look what happened to Weaver when he was moved there. He will get alot of run support though. Santana has injury concerns and doesn't have a full year of starting behind him. Will his elbow be able to handle the stress of all the extra innings?

All in all I would say you have an excellent team and I'd be happy to come out of the draft with that team. But I like to raise questions rather than just tell you you have a good team. I find it may help you analyze a bit more which is kind of what I'm sure you are looking for.
