I think so, it at least deserves the title "Best Baseball Movie No One Saw". It was incredible, INCREDIBLE I TELL YA!!!

Gotta be The Sandlot or Major League. I havn't seen half of those, so it narrowed my choices down quite a bit. I've also seen The Sandlot at last a dozen times and I had to pick it.

I voted for the field of dreams, becuase it was the very first baseball movie that i saw...

Bull Durham
Field of Dreams
Major League
The Natural
Bad News Bears
Sandlot
Pride of The Yankees

Those are the ones I've seen or remember enough to rank.

I went for FOD - but I'm surprised Costner's other baseball movie isn't up. For Love of the Game is pretty good - and I know people who bought it just because the Tigers had a perfect game against the Yankees.

I never saw 61*, so I voted for Major League with Bull Durham a very close Second, and Field of Dreams a Very Close Third.

There was a movie made in the early 70's called "Bang the Drum Slowly" Starring Robert DeNiro and Michael Mordecai. In my opinion it was of the best baseball movies ever made. Of course thing were simpler then but if you ever get a chance to see it is definitly worth a look.
