Haha, you seriously underrate the Jays by even naming them among the Orioles. They may not be a playoff team in the AL due to the Boston/NY presence, but if they were in the NL, they'd probably win. With one of the league's best rotations and bullpens (especially if BJ returns in some role), and what seems like it could be a decent offense, 90+ wins isn't out of the picture for Toronto at all. After all, they did finish with 83 wins in a horrible injury filled season in '07.
I've heard for years that Tampa was going to make this jump over the Blue Jays into 3rd place, and I still haven't seen it yet. So sure, I'll definitely take you up on this bet. I look forward to the Jays crushing the D-Rays as they do every year.

You might want to wait and see if the O's trade Bedard and Roberts. First projection I saw had the O's 8-9 games behind the Rays, and that was before any trade. Wouldn't surprise me at all if Tampa tops the Orioles. I think they are still 7-10 games behind the Jays.

Its bold and I am not underestimating the Jays. I am putting it on the line. I see improvement and I think we can get 3rd, if not than I lose. No sense it making a bet that you already know will happen, no one will take the other side.

It really is too easy a bet for me. Tampa is a team that regularly finishes with 60+ wins (66 last year), while Toronto regularly finishes with 80+ (83 last year in an underachieving, injury-filled season) and would be a major contender in any other division in baseball. I should be giving you odds, but if you want to do it straight up that's fine with me.
