Hey everybody, been lurking for awhile. My fantasy league is currently conducting our draft and I was wondering if I could get some advice. I'm in a 12 team 5x5 H2H keeper league. Scoring is hits+walks+hbp, runs, hr's, k's, and sb-cs for offense and QS, Wins, K's-BB's, ERA, and Save's+Holds+CG's minus BS's. We draft 5 keepers each year plus have a franchise player. Through wheeling's and dealings (based on the leagues convaluted rules) each team comes into this season with more than their initial 6 keepers. As such there are very few quality players available in the draft. Most wound up on somebody's team. I'm picking 9th.
I return
P. Martinez
B. Zito
A. Sele
A. Benitez
K. Farnsworth
M. Ramirez
I. Suzuki
E. Chavez
A. Soriano
I need to start one at each position plus a dh, 5 SP's, and a combination of 3 middle relievers/Closers. I already have three guys that wiff alot in Chavez, Ramirez and Soriano, so i've been leaning towards Damon. He helps me out in k's, runs, and sb's. HBBP are about the same. But I don't like have 2/3rds of Boston's outfield. Plus Burrell is a young stud who gets better with each year and I have to keep this pick for two years. Any thoughts?
