Thoughts on RotoHog.com's game

I just signed up for this from fantasybaseballguy.com's site. It's a free game and they say they Top prize is $100,000 with weekly prizes. It's suppose to be better then last year cause last year they were in a beta year, whatever that means

Wondering if anyone in here played it last year and was it fun? I like free games that help you win $100,000

I played last year. It was fun until they decided to charge for the real time stats and market info. It was too time consuming to make trades after that, and I was not about to pony it up since I was just in it to try.

To be highly competitive, you have to be around your computer a lot to be able to 'day-trade' to maximize your team's value.

I ended up winning a couple of T-shirts (top 100 for the week I think).

It is really nothing like regular FBB, but it can be fun.

I am going to give RotHog a shot this season for baseball. I played it for Football last year and it is awesome! It is a great approach to fantasy sports and it definitley puts your scouting and managing skills to the test. My friends who have played it swear it is the best baseball game out there.

BTW, I thought first prize this season is a Ford Mustang but I could be wrong. It was $100K for Football though. I didn't even come close...
