Missed it, but I was wondering if it was any good.

Did I already miss too much, or can I jump in tonight and be okay?

It was pretty good. It takes place after T2. Last night pretty much covered the history and background of the two movies which most of us are already familiar with.

I am just unsure how much story is left to tell. More terminators get sent back from the future, chases the Connors around, good terminator terminates the bad terminator. Rinse and repeat.

I made it a point to see the premiere. Pretty good. Like Yoda, I wonder how the show will remain interesting if it's basically a cat-and-mouse chase. I'll definitely see it tonight.

This show premiered last night? I would've never known in watching the Dallas/Giants game -- they should have shown a commercial or had Joe Buck plug it or something... ;-7 O:-)

Actually, I'm interested to hear reviews -- I am in the boat that there's not many places to go with it.

I saw the pre-air several weeks ago (not sure when it was originally released) and liked it a lot. It was a nice surprise. Even though I've been waiting for it awhile, I expected them to screw the pooch. The final version of the pilot aired last night was basically the same as the pre-air.

Shouldn't this show have been created about 15 years ago?

They do have a story at present, which is finding and destroying the new SkyNet, which hasn't been built yet and they don't know who builds it, or something like that. And of course the action is pretty good too. ;-D And that's why I'm watching it right now, not for the character development. Yet. Hopefully the story picks up before the action gets repetitive, but for now the DVR is set to record all episodes.

Yeah, there are certain movie/TV franchises that will keep getting me to watch the new iterations no matter how bad: Star Wars, Aliens, Terminator, Spiderman, Superman, Batman, Indiana Jones, Transformers, Voltron, Xmen, etc. It doesn't even have to be good but if it stays even close to the original, then they'll have my attention.
