help with Tigers prospects

Postby whoseyourdaddy12 » Mon Jan 07, 2008 11:21 pm

I have the Detroit Tigers and I can keep any of their 5 prospects (no maybin, miller - none of the guys from the mcab trade). Who would you keep?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Wow. After the MCab and Renteria trades, I didnt know they still had prospects. Then again, Im a White Sox fan, so look whos talking. :-°

However, the list above looks very good. Id check out Baseball America's Top 10 for the Tigers(or just go to a book store for 20 minutes and check out the Prospect Handbook), look for High Upside.
Is pushing for President Obama to pass a law requiring all citizens to be Chicago White Sox fans and make October 1st "White Sox Day" where we all dress as our favorite player. It maybe socialist, but I don't care.

I guess you for one are not too happy about the Tiger's offseason trades...

But I would suggest keeping

Rick Porcello (without a doubt, as he is their best prospect)
Casey Crosby
Brandon Hamilton
Cale Iorg
For the last one, you may want to take a chance on Jamie Skelton, but the safer pick would be Jeff Larish.

I know, I say them. And really, I wouldn't mind putting him in the top 5 seeing how the Tigers system is horrible. But then again, he's repertoire don't read that great and I'd like to see some North America numbers first.

Dominican Summer League is a joke.
