Couple things about Ryan Braun. Is he right handed? Does he hit in front of a left handed 50 homer slugger? Can he hit a fast ball? If the answer is yes to all three then look for him to continue to mash. Baseball consists of a majority of righties who will give him nothing but fastballs choosing this poison over Fielder. Lefties, who he crushes, will try their best to make him chase. It's a no lose spot. In Yahoo! standard leagues he was #2 overall in per game ave behind A-Rod. Even if he falls to #20 this year that's still second round material in 12 team leagues. Gotta love those steals too!

You may be completely right that Zimmermam's injury may hamper him in 08, although the Nats remain optimistic that he is fully recovered. The factor not mentioned is the new ballpark that is much more conducive to HRS then the Grand Canyon they played in last year. Time will tell.

While I agree that the ballpark should help, we don't really know how it will play out. It may be more of a hitters park, but it may not improve homerun totals. As you said, only time will tell.
