Do they even have voting machines in Iowa (or machines of any kind)? Might take them awhile to count up the corn stalks or whatever they are casting ballots on.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
My only comment is that New Hampshire is very different from Iowa, and Michigan is very different from both.
Meaning, today's winners may be tomorrow's afterthoughts. I would expect Clinton to do very well in New Hampshire and Obama to do to well in Michigan, with Edwards vying for second in both places. The rest of the field might as well pack it in. We certainly haven't seen the last of Hillary, that's for sure.
Huckabee pulled off the upset, but Romney still has that huge warchest, and I would be surprised if Guiliani didn't do reasonably well in NH and Michigan, plus he's spending a lot of time in Florida. Huckabee's name just doesn't sound presidential, and silly as that sounds to say, people vote for those reasons. This win guarantees Huckabee nothing, IMO. The Republicans are still wide open.

I agree.
I do care that McCain came in third. He is a front runner in NH and could do well in the future. Of all the crap out there he is one of the guys I respect and would actually vote for
I agree with previous posters. This poll tells us SOOO little about how the election will go (other than the MSM blowing it up). Like 60% of the voters were born again Christians over the age of 65.
The one thing it does tell us is that our generation (I have the feeling most of us are young americans) simply just does not vote.
I don't think McCain will ever get the Repulican nomination. If I had to guess right now I'd say Clinton and Romney are the candidates. And it is no coincidence that they lead their parties in money collected.

I hope you are wrong, but I fear you are right. If my choices are those two, I seriously would think about moving to Canada
I don't know why you think Hillary will be the Democratic nominee at this point. Obama just handily carried a state where the voters were 93% white. Farmers, church goers, old women. I honestly think he'll win almost every state's primary.
